Countdown deel 6: Het is nu nog 8 weken totdat we voor 6 maanden gaan fietsen. Tot ons vertrek geven we een korte indruk van onze fietservaringen. We doen dit in willekeurige volgorde. In deel 6 nemen we jullie ver mee terug in de tijd: een fietstocht van Sijtse door Zuidoost Engeland (Kent) tot in Londen, met 2 vrienden direct na de middelbare school in 1986 en in Zuid-Zweden samen met Irma in 1991. Als je terugkijkt vallen vooral de basale fietsen en uitrusting op, zoals de aluminium stoeltjes. Toch waren dat ook heerlijke vakanties…

Countdown part 6: It’s 8 weeks to go for our 6 months cycling tour. Until our departure, we’ll share some short impressions of our cycling experiences. Sharing in random order, part 6 is going a long way back in time: Sijtse’s cycling tours in the South of England (Kent) all the way to London, with 2 friends directly after finishing high school in 1986 and in the South of Sweden together with Irma in 1991. Looking back, especially the basic bikes and camping gear / equipment stand out, such as the aluminum seats. Nevertheless, those were also wonderful holidays…
